It’s difficult to keep up with Epson, they seem to release a new printer every week. Their latest offering the Stylus SX115 which promises to be an affordable solution to your everyday printing, scanning, and copying needs. The price tag certainly leads you to believe it’s affordable but the cost of the printer cartridges is a different story. A full set of Epson SX115 ink cartridges cost almost as much as the printer does and they don’t yield a massive amount of pages. Luckily however there are compatible Epson ink cartridges available for the SX115 and these are far more affordable than the genuine cartridges. Being a multifunctional device the SX115 offers a wide range of functions all of which it performs to a high standard. Printing is where the SX115 is  at it best, it not the fastest printer in the world, in fact its pretty slow but the print quality is amazing, this is mostly thanks to its 5760 x 1440 dpi which is one of the highest in its class. The scanning quality is also very good and the operation is smooth and quiet. The copier works without the need for a PC to be connected and at a touch of button which is useful when you need to copy something in a hurry. The SX115 also have a built-in memory card reader that’s enables printing of photos directly of any compatible memory card and a PictBridge connections for the same but with digital cameras. A apart from the expensive genuine Epson ink cartridges the SX115 does exactly what is says on the tin.
